Our Ladies team went into the final WDLL match against Clarence Park knowing that a win could secure them successive championships.
Although nearest rival West Backwell had won more games, the ladies knew that a win against Clarence could put them level on points and the title would be decided on shot difference – a decision taken after a quick ring round by WDLL officials on the morning of the deciding match.
