Clive leads team to FNL victory

CLIVE Shipway’s team – favourites since taking an early lead at the beginning of the tournament – secured victory in the 2015 Friday Night League with two rounds remaining.

But there was still plenty to play for on the final night with just six points covering the other nine teams. A late run of wins for Rob Archer’s team saw them pip Dawn Harrison’s team to the runners-up spot.

Lloyd Beck’s team, who had propped up the bottom of the table for most of season, managed to claw their way to eighth place leaving Chris Wilcock’s team – who had been mid-table for most of the season – with the dubious honour of finishing last.
