Fifteen Airbus staff used the club for a team evening out – and only one of them had bowl
ed before.
Bowling club neighbour Andy Pond who works at Airbus in Filton has competed in the last eight Sportsmen’s Days, our annual fundraiser, and asked if he could bring his colleagues along to the club for one of their regular out-of-office team building exercises.
Once they had mastered the basics of bias, line and length, the Airbus teams were quickly into their stride, becoming increasingly competitive as the evening wore on.
