Two of our Junior Girls, Madi King & Katy Taylor have again been selected to play in the first round of the Somerset Johns’ Trophy on Sunday 26 June at Ilminster Bowling Club at 10am. This is a two rink inter-county competition run by Bowls England & on 26 June Somerset. play against Dorset. Playing on the green at the same time will be the Somerset Boys double rink, the White Rose.
It’s anticipated that it will be a noisy event as Dorset supporters & teams have a reputation of being very noisy = so please come & support Somerset ‘s juniors. The winners play the next match on Sunday 3 July at Devizes Bowls Club.
