A good day and excellent performance by CBC Men on winning the Clarence Davey Inter club Plate on a very tricky green.
At the half way stage the scores were level. At 15 ends Congresbury went 7 shots up but the last few ends the score got closer and closer but eventually with 2 ends left Congresbury were 6 up.
The last two rinks were played and we dropped one and picked up one, thus winning the game 77 – 71,
