Congresbury Bowling Club’s annual Sportsman’s Day, saw 24 teams compete with eventual winners Congresbury Football Club A getting the victory. The teams are divided into two groups and each team plays three timed matches. The winners of each group play each other in the final over 10 ends.
As always this a fantastic community event where lots of village members take part and it puts “Congresbury Bowling Club” on the map during this annual event.
Four of Congresbury Juniors participated in the Somerset Under 18 Tournament at Weston St Andrews on Sunday 1st September. Lucas finished in 3rd place, while Kimi became the Champion.
