On a cold Sunday afternoon Lucas Powell and Aaron Broom took to battle in the Junior Singles Final held at GB Britton. In what was a fantastic game played on a tricky rink Aaron started the game well and got ahead and at one point was leading 10 – 6. The game then got closer and closer and In the later stages Aaron was still ahead 19 – 17. The next two ends saw Lucas get 4 shots to win the game 21 – 19.
Four of Congresbury Juniors participated in the Somerset Under 18 Tournament at Weston St Andrews on Sunday 1st September. Lucas finished in 3rd place, while Kimi became the Champion.
